Photography is another one of those expense items on your wedding day that is faced by many couples today and often it becomes a casualty of the day. After all, one needs to pay for dresses, suits, reception, cars, cake, flowers, invites, honeymoon etc, etc; the bill can easily reach the tens of thousands. But take a step back and ponder what memories you will have of your special day in 2 year’s time, 5 years, 10 years and even 25 years? Will you remember the texture and the taste of your cake? How about the sweet smelling aroma from your gorgeous and delicate flower bouquet? Will you remember the car that drove you to your church, how it sounded, how it felt? Most probably, some of these details will be a distant memory.

Your professional photographer however would have captured all these details and every time you open your wedding album these memories will be triggered and would come flooding back. This is why we believe it is so important to have a wedding album. After all, you spent so much time planning your special day and so much money to put it together, why not create a keepsake for generations to come.

Photographs are meant to be experienced, not shoved on a USB or in the Cloud somewhere. One of my fondest experiences is when I pick up my parents old albums, including their wedding album, and go through them. It’s not just the contents that I love but also the experience of finding new things every time I flick through them. To see what the fashion was like on the day, to find close relatives hidden within images and how they looked all those years ago, and all this, captured in black and white and kept inside an album held together by photo adhesive corners.

When you buy a wedding album you are buying the experience that your children, grandchildren (and even ancestors) will have with your memories. As they flick through the pages they will debate who is who. They will laugh at your fashion and debate who is who and marvel at how much they looked like you. You just don’t get that experience when viewing photos on your computer and your television screen.

It is this experience we we want to create for you here at Style Photography. When we photograph your wedding, christening or family event, we do so thinking of an album as the end goal. How each image will be presented lovingly inside your album, how the next photograph captured will complement the previous and how the story will be told to generations to come.

Albums are a major investment on a day where money is spent on so many different areas. It is the one thing however worthwhile saving if your house was in the unfortunate position of burning down. You wouldn’t go inside looking for a USB or a DVD.

Our albums are beautifully custom made in consultation with you, our client. We use only the best materials in order to last the test of time and you will be pleasantly surprised at how affordable they are.

Come and see for yourself the gorgeous albums we have on display in our studio and see what heirlooms have been created for some of our previous clients.

We can’t wait to create some memories for you.
